Speed Stacking Success at Queen Elizabeth Academy
Seven talented pupils from Croft Junior School represented the school with distinction at the Speed Stacking competition held at Queen Elizabeth Academy on Monday 10th November, 2025.
The event brought together teams from across the region to compete in this exciting sport, which requires lightning-fast hand-eye coordination, concentration and precise technique. The Croft pupils demonstrated exceptional skill as they raced against the clock, stacking and unstacking specially designed cups in specific sequences.
Throughout the competition, the team displayed exemplary attitudes and showed tremendous determination. Their hard work in practice sessions leading up to the event was evident in every round, with each member supporting their teammates and maintaining focus under pressure.
The competition culminated in a nail-biting finish, with Croft Junior School securing an impressive second place. In a testament to the incredibly high standard of competition, the team missed out on first place by a mere 0.8 seconds – a phenomenally close margin that showcased just how skilled all the competitors were.
The school is immensely proud of all seven children who took part. Their dedication, sportsmanship and positive attitudes throughout the event truly embodied the school’s values.
