Reading with Glendale Infants

On Thursday 6 March, 20 Year 6 children took a walk to Glendale Infant School to share some stories and enjoy reading together. The Year 6 children were brilliant and read to the younger children, helped with a treasure hunt and promoted a love of books. The visit was the second collaborative piece of work with Glendale, having already hosted all of the Year 2 children at Croft Junior School recently.
Collaboration is very important and the opportunity for the children to connect is valued.
