Junior Athletes Shine at Sportshall Athletics Championship

Fifteen pupils represented our school with exceptional distinction at the Sportshall Athletics competition held at George Eliot Academy on Monday 26 January.

Competing against four other schools, our young athletes demonstrated not only remarkable sporting prowess but also exemplary conduct throughout the morning. Their attitude was brilliant, showing determination and focus whilst maintaining the values of safety and kindness that reflect our school community.

The group delivered an outstanding performance, securing top position in their session. Our pupils particularly dominated the track events, showcasing speed, stamina and superb technique that left spectators thoroughly impressed.

What truly stood out was the sportsmanship displayed by all fifteen competitors. They encouraged one another, supported fellow athletes from other schools, and represented our junior school with genuine pride and maturity.

The children’s commitment and their positive mindset on the day resulted in a memorable achievement for our school. This success reflects the dedication of our pupils and the strong sporting ethos we nurture within our community of children.
